Wishing You A Happy New Year!
Where in the world did 2023 go? It wasn’t an easy year – a bit of a blur. Yet, God walked through every moment with us.
As this year ends, I’m not sad to see it go. Though our year had some health scares and struggles, we felt His presence, recognized His provision, and trusted Him for the outcome.
I discovered His power in my weakness. Found certainty in my uncertainty. And experienced His promise of hope.

More good things came out of it…our daughters moved closer to us. Such a good feeling to be able to see them more often. It’s such a simple thing to enjoy tea and scones around the table with them.
We also had a wonderful family vacation this past summer. We hadn’t been together as a family in five years. Again, so blessed to have this time with our children and grandchildren.
How can I pray for you in the New Year?
How about you? What are the highlights from 2023? How did God show Himself to you? Was it a difficult year? Full of joy, or marked with sorrow? What has God whispered to you heart as you leaned on Him?
Have you chosen a word for 2024? I’m still contemplating 🙂

Praying for you to know His blessing in 2024,

Thank you for your candid thoughts, Jeanne. 2023 had its ups and downs as most years do. I found comfort in HIS word for me……….”restored.” I believe it has far more meaning than just the new hip I received. I love being in HIS presence……
Restore is fabulous word! God’s blessings on both your recovery and all that’s ahead in the new year
Peace and blessings to you and yours in the New Year, Jeanne! We continue to praise God for another year cancer free for Barry. God continues to demonstrate His faithfulness in so many ways and I continue to learn and hopefully grow closer to Him.
So grateful for Barry’s good health. We have hope in each circumstance because of Jesus
Not sad to see 2023 go, a lot of sad issues to deal with, but I gave them to Heavenly Father, and promised not to be like the ones who have deeply hurt me I was doing okay. New year and I am certain it will be a wonderful year for all of us.
Thanks for your posts, I love reading them and saving them to read again when needed.
