I look forward to the Christmas season. The planning, the music, and the messages at church – I love to decorate and cook. I enjoy choosing just the right gifts for those I love. But more importantly, I love engaging with the story of Christmas. It is a reminder to me during the busy season, that a baby changed everything.
The people of Israel looked forward to the coming Messiah. But even then, some missed it because He didn’t come in a way they expected. I can be guilty of that too – I get so busy, I can miss the important stuff.
