Wishing you a wonderful Thanksgiving

This is to all my friends in the United States as we celebrate Thanksgiving Day today. I hope your day with family and friends is filled with God’s blessings.

We have so much to be thankful for!

As we gather around the table today, we think of every good thing we have received. Even in the middle of turmoil we can find something to be thankful for. Thanksgiving is about family, home, turkey dinner, Macy’s parade, football – but more than anything, Thanksgiving is about God. He is where we direct our thanks because everything we have comes from Him.

Do you have a Thanksgiving tradition to share?

Some share around the table – I am thankful for….

Some say grace before eating.

Some share leftovers with shut-ins.

Some visit nursing homes.

Some gather food to bring to a needy family.

Today is a reminder to give thanks – Yet, giving thanks is something God loves from us every day.

  So glad you had a good day with friends, Nancy. I have never played GOLF. I’ll have to look that up. We enjoyed a nice day and yummy Thanksgiving food too.

    6 card Golf and 9 card Golf are the two I know of played with regular Ace-King cards
