Ready for Christmas? Let Every Heart Prepare Him Room

Are you ready for Christmas?

Are you ready for Christmas? As 2024 comes to a close, are you ready for Christmas? As we anticipate the Christmas and Advent season it’s easy to get caught up in the busyness and miss the stillness.

A quiet moment to reflect.

Rejoice.

Ponder.

A quiet moment early in the day with a steaming cup of your favorite beverage. The tree lights glittering. Clock ticking. And time to be.

The last couple of years have been difficult. Navigating some family health issues, our children moving back to the East Coast (which is a VERY good thing), and finding my brain power and bandwidth are not the same as they used to be. I know…that comes with getting older.

My blog posts have fallen by the wayside. I hope to do better with that in the new year.

My Christmas Wish For You

So, this is a quick note to let you know I’m still here. And I hope this holiday season is a blessing for you and your family. Take time and enjoy the moment. Make memories. And draw near to the One who came for you and for me.

  1. Jeanne, His presence is so much more of a blessing than presents. I love your encouragement to keep things in the moment. I call it “to sit by quiet waters”
A blessed season with much to do, yet taking time to just “BE.”
    Thank you

  2. I’m like you. My blogging took a backseat this year to a book I’m working to finish. But I miss it! And I want to return to bi-weekly posting in 2025.

I love sneaking in moments of stillness throughout each day to savor the Lord’s goodness and presence.

    Lovely post.
    Merry Christmas!
